Happy Sunday!
We are back with another meal prep. This week was a pretty basic week of meal prep. The favorites this week were the apple cheesecake brioche buns and Italian sausage Alfredo.
For breakfast, I made apple cheesecake brioche buns. These were soft, fluffy and tasted like apple pie with a brioche bun as the crust. For the savory breakfast, we have stuffed pancake dumplings. These are dumpling wrappers stuffed with egg and sausage, then pan-fried. They were so good, and perfect if you're craving a dumpling-style breakfast.
For lunch, we had both an Italian-themed meal and a Japanese-themed meal. The favorite this week was the Italian sausage Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce is made with three cheeses, and the smokiness of the Asiago cheese is balanced by the roasted asparagus and Italian sausage.
The other lunch was a potato croquette (Korokke) and tempura bento. The fried goodness in this bento was hard to resist; the ground beef, potatoes are really brought together by the crispy panko breadcrumbs.
