Happy Sunday!
Hello! I skipped last week’s newsletter because I was sick as a dog (and getting my actual dog ready to board for the first time, he was very sad and so was I). But good news, I just picked him up today, and he seems happy (but still a little mad at me). On a brighter note, I also made a cookie box for friends, and it turned out cuter than I thought! Here’s what’s inside:
Oreo macarons
Peppermint mochi brownie
Strawberry linzers
Matcha & strawberry rice crispy treats
Almond snowballs
Matcha shortbread
Peppermint chocolate chip cookies
Mini gingerbread cookies
I just got back from New York and Jersey baby, and it was so much fun but so cold. It even snowed! All of the food in New York was so good, but the standout dish was this tiramisu mochi dessert from a Michelin star sushi restaurant. It was a tiramisu wrapped in mochi. It was the best dessert I have ever had, and I'm really picky about desserts. Now that I’ve had it, I am going to attempt to make it, so stay tuned.
Anyway, back to meal prep! I kept things simple this week because of the chaos of packing, a nervous dog, and getting over the flu. Since Christmas is just three days away, I’ll keep this newsletter short and sweet because I’m busy and I’m sure you are too, sooo let’s jump into the menu!
