These smoked salmon rolls are a fun twist on sushi, with smoked salmon taking the place of nori and cream cheese in place of rice. They are perfect for adding fish to your weekly meal in an easy, and no-cook way.Â
Recipe
Ingredients:
12 oz smoked salmon
6 oz spreadable cream cheese (whipped is easiest to spread)
Green onions, chopped
English cucumber, thinly sliced
Furikake, for sprinkling
Optional Add-ins:
Avocado, crab, or any other favorite sushi topping
Directions:
Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter.
Sprinkle furikake evenly on top.
Place smoked salmon slices over the furikake, overlapping to form a rectangle.
Spread the whipped cream cheese evenly over the salmon.
Layer with green onions or cucumber slices.
Use the plastic wrap to help roll the salmon tightly, like a sushi roll.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set—this makes slicing easier.
Slice into bite-sized rolls and enjoy!
