Happy Friday! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
Welcome to my first paid-subscriber-only newsletter!
I’m so excited to share a brand new newsletter series with you all! Every Friday, I’ll post four dinner recipes, a detailed grocery list, and a downloadable PDF version of all recipes for easy access. I’ve been receiving a growing number of paid subscriptions, so I thought it would be fun to try a paid newsletter where I share what I make for dinner each week.
For my free subscribers, don’t worry, nothing is changing! I’ll still be sending out my free meal prep newsletter every Sunday. This paid newsletter is an opportunity to receive more content for those who are interested.
At the start of each month, I’ll offer this newsletter for free as a preview for anyone considering joining. That said, no pressure at all to subscribe, and all of my regular content will remain accessible for free.
This first menu features dishes inspired by my Japanese, Korean, and Filipino roots. Let’s get into this week’s lineup!
Grocery List
This week, I spent $100 for four dinners to feed four people at Whole Foods. If you shop at other grocery stores like Walmart or Kroger, I estimated the cost to be about $65.
The essentials list may seem long, but I only buy these staple items every 1-2 months. Everything listed is something I regularly use in my recipes, making it an investment for your kitchen.
Overall Cost Summary
Chicken Katsu Curry: ~$5.25 per serving
Miso Salmon w/ Miso Risotto: ~$5.75 per serving
Gyudon: ~$6.25 per serving
